Smash The Patriarchy was an exploration of a couple ideas. The first was whether I had the capacity to make a simple platformer. The second was whether I could make a platformer with a story that I enjoyed. I think this game is probably failure on both points, and I think it replicates some pretty bad ideas (after all, this robot damsels a number of prominent feminist theorists.) I wanted to be lighthearted, but I don't know if it worked out. I wouldn't make this game today.
This game appeared in the Games of Art exhibition in Brisbane, Australia in the summer of 2013.
